The English class takes place once a week for an hour. It is for anyone of any age who wants to learn English. Some children use it as an addition to the English they learn at school and others don't previously know any English so there are a mixture of ages and abilities. We look at different topics each week (sometimes taking a couple of weeks to learn a topic) and we learn the English words together. Sometimes there are worksheets to fill in, but there are often games and songs based around the words and phrases we are looking at so it's a fun way of learning. And as an added bonus and an incentive for learning, the children can earn stickers for attendance, joining in the games and for learning the words for each week.
